Homework - Audience Questionnaire

Your task for the holidays is to produce a questionnaire comprising of 10 questions that help you to find out more about your target audience. You could do this by hand or make one on Survey Monkey for free and send it our via email and social media. You need to collect results from at least 10 people.

Things to consider when creating your questions:

Age
Gender
What genres of music they listen to? 
What are their favourite artists?
How they buy music?
How they listen to music?
How they feel about female representation in the music industry?
What they would like to see more of on a CD Cover?
What font styles they like (show examples & get them to pick)?
What colour schemes they like (show examples & get them to pick)?
What album covers are their favourite and why?
Any other questions you feel are relevant and that will help you to produce a successful cover.

You need to produce an A4 page which shows the results of your questions in graphs and charts (Survey Monkey does this for you - just print screen). You must then write a paragraph answering the following questions:

Who is your target audience (age range and gender)?
What were the most interesting pieces of information you found out from this questionniare?
What kind of a CD cover would meet your target audiences' expectations?
How will you use this information to help you design a CD cover?

This homework is due on Wednesday 4th January.
